Andres “Pigu” Romero wins Argentine Masters
For the second time in his career (first time in 2006), Andrés Romero won the Argentine Masters held at Olivos Golf Club where Tom Lehman, former #1 player in the world, was the defending champion.
After 4 rounds of superb golf, El Pigu defeated fellow countryman Fabian Gomez by 5 strokes and is ready to go for his first Argentine Open to be played this week at the Red Course of the Jockey Club.
This victory comes in a great moment for Andres, as he will try to get back to his 2008 when he made the cut in all 4 Majors and won his first PGA Tour Title at New Orleans. In a private interview he stated he is willing to return to all 4 Majors during this year.
