Argentine Angel Cabrera wins first Masters Title and 2 Major Championship
In 2007 Angel Cabrera gave to our golf one of the finest moments wining US open title at Oakmont. On Sunday April 12th his win of the Masters title at Augusta National gave to our golf maybe the greatest moment in history. Historic golf course co-designed by legendary Bobby Jones and Allister Mackenzie witnessed a great afternoon of the best golf. At the beginning, Mickelson and Tiger Woods made a great move and were very close to a win, while our Angel Cabrera started slow and nervous, but 2 great shoots at 11 gave life back to “El Pato” who made 3 birdies in the last 6 holes to force playoff and winning in the second extra hole.
This is a great win for our golf, hope it is the beginning of many more with our young stars Andres Romero and Estanislao Goya.
If you travel for golf, you like good food and enjoy nice landscapes, come to play Cordoba Golf Club in Villa Allende, the course where our “El Pato” started to buid his major dream.
CONGRATULATIONS PATO!!!!!
